Fashion Trends of 2019

After doing some research I have found a few possible fashion trends for the upcoming spring season. According to Cosmopolitan magazine and Glamour magazine neon garments are going to be the in style. Not sure how I feel about it, some people look better in bright colors than others, so we'll have to see if the trend sticks.

Large hats and bucket style hats are another possible trend this spring. I actually found some bucket hats to be adorable. I'll share some links to stores with bucket hats that I found cute. As a woman that loves hats, especially weird ones this might be a trend for me. :D

Tie-dye is another trend that seems to be making a comeback. Glamour and Elle both mention the tie-dye trend in their magazines. It's a love hate for me, some tie-dye looks great, especially dresses to me. I think you either like it or you don't.

Cycling shorts are trending, women feel they are comfortable especially since they can feel like leggings. I could see this trend sticking around since leggings are still very popular in our society.

Fringe seems to be coming back as well, which was popular in the seventies. Many of the 1970's fashion has stuck for a long time. I can't say I'm surprised by fringe making a comeback now. I saw a few fringe garments on Project Runway for a couple seasons, especially the last one. It definitely seems to be popular, I'll have to see if I find something I like. However, I think this is another area of fashion that either you like it or you hate it.

Pleated dresses are believed to trend this spring. I like pleated skirts so I can't see how different they would be from those.

Crochet and color blocking fashion will be the new in style this spring. I actually like these two types of fashion. I've seen crochet items in swimsuit magazines for cover ups and I always wondered what an actual skirt or shirt would look like. I can say I'm happy about this and will probably find some pieces I like. I think the color blocking if done right will look awesome. I saw some dresses and found them to be pretty. It takes away from the one toned dress and adds a couple more colors to it. Some of the dresses I have seen look like pieces of art that could be in a gallery.

Sequins will be in style, but I don't think they ever really left. I have seen sequin tops and dresses for a long time. Some garments look amazing, while others seem to be too much. I think there needs to be a happy medium with sequins and the style of the garment itself needs to be cohesive. Otherwise I think it's a fashion trend that turns into more of a nightmare.
